Notices for the week beginning 20th May 2018

Christian Aid Week
This is now over, and filled envelopes should be returned to church as soon as possible, please.

Whitbourne DCC meeting
Monday 21st May 7.30pm in Whitbourne Church.

Building work inside Whitbourne Church

This has now finished, but the exact arrangement of pews, Nave Altar etc. will be in a state of flux for some time yet. Please be patient with us as we move towards making the best use of the space. Currently, Holy Communion is being received standing from the priest, with the bread, and one or two chalice bearers..

The Grapevine

Please let Dawn or Doiran, our Ministers, know if you would like a visit, or even a phone call, or if you know somebody else who would. This could be, for example, because they are ill or recuperating, if their problems are getting the better of them and they need a friendly word, or if they are recently bereaved. Rev’d. Dawn Hyett: 01885 483747 Rev’d. Doiran Williams: 01886 821189

Friendship Lunch

We started regular lunches at the Live and Let Live in Whitbourne, on the third Wednesday of the month from 12-2, on 18th April. This next one is on 20th June. Greater Parish Away Day, 2nd June

See page 16 of the April 2018 Parish Magazine. Bishop Michael will take the service the 11am service at Tedstone Delamere on 29th April, and will tell us something about what to expect at the Away Day.

Change to regular service times at Upper Sapey

In order to ease the pressure on the leadership team, the Sunday services at Upper Sapey (1st and 2nd Sunday each month) will normally be at 11.30am from 3rd June, following coffee & chat from 11am. No other service times are affected by this change.
